Very expensive.... I got one thing fixed and got 3 miles down the road, and my car is now back at the dealership. I just spent $400 and now another $1400. How can something go wrong in 3 miles? The employees there are wonderful i must say.
Good work and polite folks. Grateful for loaner car. Unhappy that cost was not estimated properly the morning I dropped it off. I approved 534 and it cost me 612... original quote provided did not include my oil change (that was the actual reason for visit) or taxes.
Service did not happen! They had the part for a while but I had to call to find out that it was in. I bought a new chrome grill and it's been in the parts department for a while now waiting for the new sensor to arrive. I asked if they would be able to paint it chrome to match the new grill. I was told by the service department that it would break the warranty. They have to paint it the original color that's on the cars serial number and get it working, and then replace my new grill and sand down the newly painted sensor so they could repaint the sensors to match. Im not happy and told him that if thay can not do it right, I would find another dealer ship that could. He said he would call me back once he had a chance to talk to management to see if they could make an exception for me. I have called back 2 more times to get blown off with the excuse that they have been too busy and the manager was to busy to get me an answer and call me back. Still waiting! Been trying to get it in for service for the past 3 days now! Getting really tired of being treated like a second rate citizen. They're acting like they're doing me a big favor to conduct the warranty work for free. Let's get one thing straight here! It's not warranty work. The damaged sensor and the dent in my door were done when it was driven 350 miles from Ill to James Corlew Chevrolet instead of trailering it so they could save some money. I picked up my Volt almost 2 months ago and It has been like pulling teeth to get it fixed. I'm going, to be honest with you, If I financed it throw James Corlew I would have already stopped payments and let them repossess it. If they can't or won't fix it in the next week then I think they should reimburse me $2,500 for the safety options that They brook and have never fixed. I feel like I was given a used broke car but made to pay full price and they don't seem to care if I'm dissatisfied or not. I have been a proud Chevy owner for the past 45 years but after this, I don't know If I'm willing to go through this kind of hassle again.
I took my car in for service because my OnStar told me I had a problem with it. I left my car there for about three hours and was called to tell me my car was finished so I went to pick it up and I couldn't be happier with my results. Samantha is quite the professional you expect from James Corlew and I do appreciate her as well as the others getting my car taken of and back to me as soon as possible. Great Job!!!! Z06
